Proximity Learning’s AP Macroeconomics course students will learn why and how global economies change so often, how to identify trends in our economy, and how to use those trends to assist in measuring predictors of economic growth or decline. Students will also examine various factors like government and local spending, inflation, taxes, and supply and demand, understanding how they impact consumers.

This course is taught at the equivalent of an introductory college-level class. Students will learn:

  •  Understanding of aggregate economic activity and the critical evaluation of determinants of economic progress and economic decisions made by policy makers
  •  Open economy and international trade and finance
  •  Measurement of economic performance, national income and
    price level determination
  •  Basic economic concepts, such as marginal analysis and
    opportunity costs
